On Friday 27th October the Millington rugby team took part in a tag rugby tournament at Chambers Park. The tournament was a great opportunity for the team to practise and develop key skills such as teamwork, passing and evasion. Later in the year these skills will be extremely useful during contact tournaments and matches.
Millington played against 4 other primary schools in our group. We managed to win each game convincingly. Everyone played superbly and gained valuable match experience.
The players were all very appreciative of the amount of support that came to cheer them on!
