On Thursday 22nd September, Mrs Beggs was invited to Ormeau Library in Belfast for the launch of a new children’s book entitled Anika’s Underwater Adventure. Mrs Beggs’ P7 class last year took part, with 4 other Primary schools, in a book writing project to celebrate diversity, with specific emphasis on African culture.
Her class took part in a number of zoom calls with the project organiser to help gather themes and characters for the story.
A link to a digital copy is just below. P2&3 got a special reading of the new book on Wednesday 21st September and even got to meet the author.
