On Wednesday 31st May the Millington rugby team took part in the primary schools tournament at Ulster’s ground the Kingspan Stadium. The team took part in 3 matches. Despite the heat and 2 back-to-back games everybody played well and gave their all for the team. The team managed to win 2 out of their 3 games but shouldn’t feel disheartened as they came up against a fantastic intergrated team of Macosquin and Damhead Primary Schools. As an extra treat, the boys got to tour the changing rooms of the Ulster Rugby team.
Mr Johnston, Mr McKane and Mr Taylor are very proud of the team, as is everyone at Millington. This was a great example and was the perfect way to end a season of hard work and practise in all weathers.
