Primary 5/6 boys today did fantastically well to come FIRST out of ten teams in the Brownlow Cup.
The boys got off to a flying start, beating Drumgor x2 and Tandragee to top the group. This sat up a mouth watering encounter against Markethill. The other group winners. This led to a thrilling encounter, in which the teams couldn’t be separated. It was down to spot kicks. Millington winning the shootout 3-2 to progress into the Brownlow cup final.
The boys came out flying to defeat a very strong Kings Park team in the final. The final score being 3 goals to nil. The goal of the day has to go to Jayden for a long range screamer.
I am very proud of the boys who have played some great football throughout the season. They fought hard throughout this tournament and were very deserving of lifting the trophy at the end of the day. The boys were a credit to all, what a way to end the school year.
