On Wednesday 3rd May, Millington PS held a special assembly where the pupils heard a little more about what the coronation means and how significant it is. P6 shared some of their work researching the coronation and the life of King Charles III. The choir also treated us to a wonderful Coronation song.
Also in our special assembly the pupils and staff took a few moments to consider the comparison of King Charles with King Jesus with a representative of the Trinitarian Bible Society. Every child was given a copy of a commemorative edition of the Bible to mark the coronation of King Charles. What a wonderful gift!
