Remembrance Sunday 2021

On Sunday 14th November, two Primary 7 pupils, alongside Mrs Beggs and Mr McKane, had the privilege of laying a wreath during the Portadown Remembrance Day Memorial Service, held outside St Mark’s Church.  The wreath was laid in memory of all the fallen heroes who fought in wars throughout history so we can experience the freedoms we all have today.

It was an honour and a privilege to be able to represent Millington Primary School in this way and both pupils were outstanding throughout the service.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
