On Thursday 30th March the Millington rugby team took part in the Gilpen Cup tournament at Portadown Rugby club. The team enjoyed great success by securing victories in 5 of their 6 matches. Everyone played with determination, desire and a strong team spirit. The fantastic work from everyone in defence, especially in the final game, must be congratulated as Millington only conceded four tries across their 6 games. This enabled Millington to use their speed, skill and flair in attack.
Mr Johnston and Mr McKane are very proud of the team, as is everyone at Millington. This was a great example and was the perfect way to end a season of hard work and practise in all weathers.
