Safer Internet Day 2022

On Tuesday 8th February,  Millington Primary School held their annual Safer Internet Day.  This years theme was ‘Exploring respect and relationships.

From gaming and chat, to streaming and video, young people are shaping the interactive entertainment spaces they are a part of. Safer Internet Day 2022 celebrates young people’s role in creating a safer internet, whether that is whilst gaming and creating content, or interacting with their friends and peers.

Throughout the day,  pupils discussed the theme of respect and relationships and they were challenged to foster supportive relationships and respectful communities, whilst equipping them with the skills they need to keep themselves and others safe in these spaces.
