On Thursday 31st March, Dave Wiggins from Sustrans NI visited Primary 7 and took a small group, from each class, outside to the pitch to develop basic bike skills and play some games. Dave showed the P7s how to check their bike before each journey, how to properly fit their helmets and explained the importance of the ‘life safer’ manoeuvre when cycling out and about. Pupils also played games that developed control of their bikes and control techniques.
