Primary 5S

Important Information

  • Please ensure ALL items of uniform are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
  • School finishes at 2:45pm
  • School dinners can be booked online via Parentpay.
  • If your child is absent from school, please submit an absence note to school when your child returns.
  • To keep up to date with current events in school please sign up to the school Millington app.
  • Information regarding homework and teacher contact can be made via Seesaw.


  • P.E. is on Monday and Friday
  • On P.E. days you must bring your P.E. Kit and trainers to school with you in a named bag.
  • Our P.E. Kit includes a red Millington T-shirt and black shorts.
  • Please ensure all P.E. kit is labelled.

Healthy Break

  • In Millington we promote a healthy break policy. Children should bring in a healthy snack to eat at break time such a fruit or yogurt.
  • There is a NO NUT rule in school. Some children have severe nut allergies and therefore no nuts are permitted for break and lunch.

Accelerated Reading Scheme

  • At school your child will take part in the Accelerated Reading Scheme which will also be incorporated into their daily reading at home.
  • Children are encouraged to bring their books daily to class as they are given time to read and enjoy them.
  • Please encourage your child to read 25 minutes each night.
  • Don’t forget to register online to receive emails to share in your child’s progress.
